Lobi has no accounts. You don't sign up, you don't give an email address, you don't create a password. All you need to play is a nickname and a room code. This page is about what's left over.
What stays on your device
The following lives in your browser's own storage and is never sent to us. Clearing your browsing data deletes it.
- Your nickname — so you don't have to type it again next time.
- Your sound and language choice — on/off, Turkish/English.
- A per-tab room key — a random number generated so that your seat can be given back to you if your connection drops. It disappears when you close the tab and it doesn't identify you.
We set no cookies of our own and store nothing for tracking. For the cookies set by Google, which serves the ads on this site, see "Third parties" below.
What happens on the server while you're in a room
Opening a Lobi starts a temporary server process for that room. While you play, it sees your nickname, which seat you're in, your moves in the game and whatever you type in chat. All of it is relayed to the other people in the room — that is simply how the game works.
This is held in memory for as long as the room is alive. Moves and chat messages are not recorded; they are passed along and forgotten. When the room empties there is no game history and no chat transcript left behind.
Only two small things are written down, both scoped to that one room: the temporary entry that holds a disconnected player's 30-second right to return, and the list of nicknames removed from the room (so the same person can't walk straight back in). Both are deleted once the room falls out of use.
Who sees what
Everyone in the room sees your nickname and whatever you write in chat. Rooms are private — nobody gets in without the code — but anyone you share the code with can. We'd suggest not using your real name, or anything else you'd rather not be recognised by, as a nickname.
Room pages are closed to search engines; no room is ever indexed.
Third parties
- Cloudflare — the site is hosted here. Like any web server, Cloudflare sees your IP address while handling your requests and keeps short-lived technical logs.
- Google Fonts — the site's typefaces load from Google's servers. That request reveals your IP address and browser details to Google.
- Google AdSense — the ads on this site come from here. To decide which ad to show, Google sees your IP address, your browser details and which page you are on, and it may set its own cookies and storage entries in your browser. Those are not ours and we cannot read them.
You can manage how ads are personalised, and turn personalisation off, in Google's Ad Center. Google explains how it uses data on partner sites here.
Beyond those, there are no third parties: no analytics, no social media trackers.
What we don't collect
No email address, phone number, location, payment details, contacts or device identifiers. We don't sell your data. We don't pass anything from inside the games — your nickname, your moves, your chat messages — to Google; it only sees the page an ad appears on and the standard details your browser gives every site.
Children
The site is open to everyone and does not verify age. Because it collects no personal data, it accumulates nothing about children either. It does have a chat feature, so we'd suggest younger children play with an adult around.
Your rights
Almost all of your data is already yours: clearing this site's data in your browser settings removes your nickname and preferences. There is no account to delete, because there is no lasting profile on the server. If you have a question or a request anyway, write to us — we'll tell you plainly what we do and don't have.
